This blog is founded on the following premises:
- American culture is suffering from a spiritual sickness. Many of the current problems of society are related to the individual and collective turning away from God.
- There is a lack of knowledge about basic Christian principles, even among Christians that profess the faith.
- As Christians, we have a responsibility to spread the Gospel and do our share to grow the faith. So, here we go…
Other points to note:
- We believe in absolute truth, and are constantly trying to share it or find it… We reject the idea of moral relativism.
- We acknowledge that we are sinners, and still have a lot to learn. By writing, it helps us stay on the right track ourselves. This site is not about pointing fingers or being too “preachy”. If it comes off this way at times, we apologize.
- This site is not political, but may overlap into politics when discussing current events or certain topics. While we may hold strong political views, this site is not about left vs. right. We discuss truth as we see it, and welcome all those searching for truth in a respectful manner, no matter what political affiliation, religion, age, sex, etc… you get the idea.
- “Do we need another religious blog?” Maybe, maybe not. There are hundreds of bloggers out there that have been doing this for years that continue to create awesome content. People respond differently to different types of posts. Therefore, this site features both unique content as well as selected curated content.
